i had a dream

I had a dream

darkness shrouded the world and I  was alone as always, no friends, no family, no dog to play with, all alone, just me and a empty world.  I trudged down streets with litter blowing across by the wind, I saw  a life that I had been living for so long that even in  my dream tears sprung to my eyes. Every house was empty, every doorway vacant. The darkness got deeper as the dream wore on, time seemed to remain nighttime. from all corners of the streets I could vaguely hear screaming, crying, wailing at a world empty of all things beside myself that is. But I did not feel alive I felt that part of me was missing, as I looked around, I noticed that the street light cast no shadow on me. I could touch the lonliness that enshrouded the once live world. So I walked on and on and on and on and on. It was one of those dreams that make you seem to be able to interact with themselves,.  And then the light shone out of the clouds, where it came from I have no idea yet it was strong and buetiful, then as I sat on the edge of a sidewalk I heard a voice.

                                          " You are not alone, all the earth may shun you and walk past you as if you never existed , but I have loved you for an eternity and for a eternity you shall be mine and no other so stand up, dust yourself off and walk, see what this world has to offer, with me by your side you will notice that this is a place of new chances, a place of wide choices.!!!"

                 so I stood in my dream, and dusted myself off, my ragged clothes seemed to repair themselves and the darkness of the perpetual night did no longer seem so dark, in fact as I picked up  one foot after another it was as if there was a light guiding me.....

                                 then the dream ended to my horror and heartache,

                                    but then I thought was it only a dream............
