Longing

My heart aches. Not the normal sad aches but the I'm really hurting not seeing u ache. I don't want to show u how much I miss u so I cry myself to sleep. Where are you I ask
Myself. Wanting you to be near you next to me in the dark. Feeling the bed rise and fall with each breath you take. As the moon shines through the windowsill, I see your profile in the beam of light. Reaching out but without a touch forming the lines of your face.  Don’t wake up til I can take it all in. Heart beating fast with what may enravel.
