Modeling

Today I was in the biggest event in my entire life. I was in a modeling competition for Barbizon. I had a stressful week preparing for it. Shopping from Wednesday to Friday and going to the workshop Saturday and the competition Sunday. We spent a lot of money on this too. $1000 for me to enter, money for my dads ticket, money for the clothes, and money for the parking. Modeling is hard work, but it’s worth it. I’m not a professional (yet) but I know that. I’m really proud of myself and want to keep working on this to improve. I got an honorable mention, meaning I did amazing but didn’t win. I got 12 callbacks too, so I’m really happy about that because most people said they got 6-8 callbacks. The most I heard anyone had was 18. There were 57 VIP agents, managers, producers, and directors there. I’m really happy this worked out so far. I have to write a lot of emails now. My wish is that I can keep working at this and to have my hard work pay off. I’m ready to do what it takes, when it takes, and how to take it to succeed.
