Some ideas...

I have been off of here for a very long while,busy with life ,and I want to get back to finishing my stories. I have a few I want to run by you,and get you're honest opinions....the first 1 is kind of like the story Aladdin. Where it takes place in a society were everyone is addicted to and dependent on a psychotropic drugs called happy,which has horrific side effects. One being perminantly disfiguring any user,and people become instantly addicted when they use it. The drug makes you experience life as absolutely blissful, even going as far as to create an entire happy world were everyone on the drug can coexist. The problem is its expensive, society has collapsed due to dependency on the drug and everyone looks like horrid abominations because of the side effects. The main character has been on the drug on and off since he was a child he cannot afford to remain on the drug consistently,and often finds himself going to extreme lengths to get just enough to be high for a few hours, everyone around him dreams they had the money to stay in perminantly the social elite have themselves dosed with the drug and stay in happy their entire life, because while in happy they see and experience what they wany reality does not affect them....ok so that's 1 story.
The next is one that is not very thought out at least not as much as the previous, so the story came from a question that popped into my head one day, what if we lived in a world were sounds were almost only made by people and these secret sound makers have been around since the beginning, our entire life and every person on earth has these people who's job it is is to make the sounds of your life, but we do not know they exist because our minds just kind of tune out what they do because they have always been there, simular I guess to losing a limb you still feel it, but in this case because its always been there its not weird so u don't think about it. I don't know what the main conflict is, I do know I want there to be like turf wars were they compete to make the most impressionist sounds.also in the story u do not have music stars only movie stars, for whatever reason music never picked up, but the need for sounds did...that's what I got so far for that one.
