do you remember me?

we walked along the sea together last night, holding hands and singing our lungs out. you told me all your hopes and dreams, and i told you mine. we kissed under the beautiful sunset as the waves swept by our feet.

we promised ourselves to each other, and we signed a contract on the sand. although the waves washed it away ,you said it was being carried to the other side of the world . that way neither of us could break it! we chased each other around , laughing loudly like crazy people. to spectators we looked like fools, fools in love, but that didn't stop us we were too in love to care.

it quickly became dark and i became afraid, it was the darkness. it was here to take you back, away from me , to a place where you forgot all about our time spent together. to an evil land ruled by money and not love. a place full of violence and rejection, a peace less place called reality. where you are an auditor on the firth floor and i a receptionist on the third. a place where i only get to see you from eight till five in the evenings, a sad sad place indeed! a place that appears when i wake up, and i can't even tell you that 'we were there together'.
