Poem -

moon... bang... gone...

we laughed
to
watch
the rainbows
melt

that night
as light
exploded

in
the
sky

we children
awed
and
cheering on
we laughed
and watched
the moon
bang
gone

for
none of us

yet had the words

for
die

Being Me

Ooooh — this is very well done. The first bit runs on in a fun sort of way. Its like the poem takes you by the hand and invites you to come play awhile — then, suddenly — bang! Gone! No more! Death turns up and spoils the party. Just like it does in life. Well written x
