I AM POETRY

I am poetry, the voice of deep thoughts 
Shining light on memories once lost
A canvas that displays ideas of the mind 
Bringing to life the mundane and divine.

I am poetry, the art of words that sing,
I dance on the page with each rhythmic swing
With lyrical flow and heartfelt rhyme,
I captivate souls with my rhythm and rhymes.

I am poetry, black to the core, a reflection of the night 
With vastness to explore.
I am poetry, a painter of emotions, vivid and clear 
A storyteller of dreams with imagery beyond compare.

I am poetry, the whisper of the wind in the trees,
The echo of laughter carried on the breeze
The joy that each heart seeks 
And the peace sought beneath the sheets.

I am poetry, the fire that burns deep in the heart 
The spark of inspiration that sets thoughts apart 
The solace in joy, the comfort in pain
The rays of sunshine and the pelting rain.

So let me be your guide, your muse,
Let my words inspire and enthuse.
For I am poetry, timeless and true
A reflection of the world, a mirror of you.
