Poem -

UNSPOKEN FLAME

In shadows where silence clings,
We danced on the edge of unsaid things.

Your eyes, a language only I could trace,

A longing hidden in each stolen gaze.

No promises spoken, no vows betrayed,

Yet something between us refused to fade.

A spark ignites in words left bare,

An emotional tether we shouldn't dare.

I carry your secrets, you carry mine,

Two hearts entwined across the line.

But every touch is just out of reach,

A lesson in love we can never teach.

Though no lips have touched, no hands have roamed,

In our quiet moments, we’ve built a home.

A place of whispers, of need and despair,

Where we’ve loved each other in the thin, fragile air.

And though we both wear different rings,

In this affair, we’re both losing things—

Pieces of soul, shards of our heart,

Torn between worlds, drifting apart.

But even if we never speak the name,

I'll always remember that unspoken flame
