hug me

hug me I say, and I'll need
nothing more
For a terror has seized meÂ
I am shaking before
the one who has made me
a consciousness here
I feel trapped in this body, this
life which I fear
and the shivers are on me
are rattling my brain
And home is displacedÂ
In this horrified pain
and I cant find the one who has
brought me to be
I am dying inside these
odd breaths
Which are me
so hug me I say and I'll ask
nothing more
just hug me and hug me and
Never let go
M ~

Oh gosh, Marion, that was achingly beautiful. Good writing is characterized by making people feel, and I could feel every line of that. Gorgeous. Love, M.

This makes me immediately think of desertion. Specifically, from one which results in lost faith — a faith which was, maybe, strong "before." Xx
