Poem -

The Sorrow That Redeems

If this grief of heart is absent,

we are but wanderers in the dark,

whispering hollow confessions,

deaf to God’s voice within the spark.

For what is repentance but sorrow’s wound,

the weight that bends the soul to kneel?

Without its sting, the words dissolve,

a lifeless prayer we cannot feel.

Yes, we will stumble, we will fall,

but to resist the voice inside,

to choose the chains, reject God's call,

is to let His Spirit be denied.

This sorrow is no curse but gift,

a fire that breaks yet makes us whole,

for only through its piercing touch

can God take root within the soul.
