The Passing Mirror of Time

"Time is neither shadow nor light — it is a silent door that opens every moment. Whoever sees it, finds themselves before it slips away." — Dr. Shakira Nandni
Life is a continuous journey, and time is the path we all travel without pause. None of us can stop it, reverse it, or push it forward. It’s a silent force that keeps flowing, leaving behind stories, triumphs, and regrets.
Each morning, when the sun rises, it brings a new opportunity — to recognize ourselves, to learn from our mistakes, and to do something better. But the truth is, most of us waste that new day just like the last. We only begin to value time when it has already slipped away. In reality, time is a mirror — it reflects who we truly are, if only we dare to look.
Caught in our busy lives, we rarely pause to ask: where are we going, and why? If a person stops for just a moment and looks deep within, they may feel that something is missing. A silent question whispers within us each morning: will today truly be worth living? Or will we let another blank page of time pass us by?
The greatest illusion of humankind is believing there is always more time. But time is like a river — it never flows backward. If we wish to find truth, peace, love, or purpose, we must begin valuing time today — for tomorrow might be too late.
Only those escape the grip of time who embrace four principles: believing in themselves, purifying their intentions and actions, holding up the mirror of truth for others, and choosing patience in the face of life’s trials. These are not rules tied to any single faith or philosophy — they are a universal message for humanity. Yet, it is surprising how clearly these principles echo from an ancient book — one whose words still illuminate countless hearts across the world.
Perhaps this is the moment when a question stirs within the soul — can I, too, be part of that truth? Can I reclaim the time I’ve lost? The answer is yes — but only if one chooses to change.
The truth of life is never forced — it is simply shown. And those who have the heart to see it, find their way naturally.
