August 27, Forever to come
   On this date Mom, I lost my best friendÂ
I never thought that you and I would ever endÂ
But that day you died
   On this date Mom, I’ll always rememberÂ
You’re patiently waiting for me now in HeavenÂ
And I’ll try not to cryÂ
