falling skies + deepening moons

I am freed, as one
With failing skies
Of trees that stand
Alone as I
And this hill above the leeched
out towns
Does never mind my presence
there
Nor I to mind the violent winds
Which ever try to steal my hair
There is wildness here that
skulks and creepsÂ
A gloaming feast of greying
sheep
A darkening of the green eyed
fields
As all there is here fades and
yields to
Distant lights in distant towns
To distant people homeward
bound
Of falling skies + deepening moons
I think I shall not go home soon

Why aren't you getting published Marion.
You're a cut above.
Who is never repetitive or humdrum, you deliver much more than 'also ran' poetry.Â
This proves it along with many more in your catalogue.
Wishing you well and hugs at you too.
