A MAN ALONE

A MAN ALONE

Where is he that one can depend
I sailed the globe in search of a friend

Like the universe and its clusters
The Earth’s covered with feet

But the voice of a friend
Like a hibernating bear sleeps.

Wilford Barker.

You said a great deal in only six lines, Wilford.
It's a sad write, but expressed with beauty.

My dear Bernadete. It’s always nice to hear from you.
I do hope that all is well with you and family.
As always, I appreciate your honest opinion.

Being Me

I agree with Bernadette. Much said in a few lines. The loneliest place of all to be, is not in solitude but in an unfamiliar people filled city xx
