The Truth about the Hopeless

The problem with hopeless romantics is that; we are never remotely hopeless. In fact, we are only always hopeful; hopeful that every romance will be our faerie tale. Even if we are the only one who believes it.

And so we climb the steps of delusion; higher and higher. Only to throw ourselves off in hopes of flight.

As we plummet to the earth we can only help ourselves to hope that someone will catch us.

Our bones crumble as we are met by the firm embrace of the rocky reality.

What do we do before the blood dries, you ask? Start our same climb allover again.

All but positive, that this will be the last time.
