16 years it has been,
Our fate was there,
Just in waiting to intervene

New beginnings with old and new friends alike,
It Is just what I wanted.
Never did i think though,
I’d have a 16 year old crush,
Walk back into my life!
18 months under each others noses,
Just like we were part of Shotleys’ lost and found.
We’ve so much in common.

I didn’t ever expect to see you again,

Back in 2005.
Little did I know then,
That I was the same,

A twinkle in her eye.
But both had partners then,
Until i stumped you on a dating site,
Starting with the letter B.
Even though I still fancy you,
I just thought,
Just friends we’d be,
But then I was rendered speechless,
With your revelation,
 you completely shocked me,

Thriving and alive.
16 years of catching up to do,
Even just friendship wise.
I felt that same gut instinct in the beginning though,

 of which brightens any room,

Im not religious,
But my god your eyes are the most beautiful pools of a clear sky mixed with the oceans blue. 
Fate must be smiling on us both,
Not singular,
But both of us too.
Fates paths don't cross for no reason,
So can’t wait till next seeing you.
