" 16th CENTURY ~ DANCING IN LOVERS "

My angel doth move at midnight's behest
Loving in truth, and rejoicing in dancing's request
She whispers to me, "Wilt thou not dance along?
For it is thusly, we two shall melt into lovers song..."
It is I, that so deeply, and reverently need to know
That lovers dance, for a vernal need to show
True Loves seeds, ablaze, in partnering's intuition
Wilt thou not dance with me in Love's potential for fruition?...
Can'st thou not feel my heart upon your skin, as we minuet?
In each touch of my hand, in each rotation ,I swim in your scent
And verily I am swept away, in dancing's lovely inventions
Like the Paris I see in your eyes, underlying romantic intentions...
Does God, with forethought, reveal Love's light, dancing in lovers?
For it is a most holy experience, to dance anew and discover
A tender heart, beating as one's own, in Love's divine ballet
Where previously there was one,
There are two this holy day
Oh, what joyous discoveries
Await,
Dancing in lovers...
