I rushed things

Instead of talking, I should have asked things

If I could hit rewind, I would have listened as you shared your journey

"When did you stop believing God loves you?"

"What made you think it was a lie?"

"Are you satisfied with the alternate reality?"

"Why?"

"Would you give God a second chance?"

"Do you think the problem lies with God or you?"

"What if God provided a clear solution?"

"Would you allow the return of spiritual romance?"

"Is there baggage you'd like to unpack?"

"Can you believe God's big enough to handle it?"

"Why not?"

"How does the alternate reality look now?"

"Do you have even just a little bit of a suspicion that God can and still does love you?"

"Would you dare to ask God face to face?"

This is what I wish I had asked from you

Instead of speaking at you

And losing your attention

And I'm sorry

Because God does still love you

If only you knew
