"A single tear will not be shed today,

Cos it will hurt you my inner conscious says.

You embraced me like no other Daddy,

I entered your abode as your daughter in law but never had to forsake my inner childhood, my barbies or my teddy.

Those laughs and gags, those extended conversations,

Your keenness in my routine chores never had abrasions.

You said I am your trusted one,

A father in law cannot be my Daddy, misconceptions remained none.

Your persona and identity were accepted effortlessly by others,

Your diligence was superlative, a blissful family you did nurture.

A spiritual soul , utterly pious,

Stood by the right, never recognised as being biased.

12 months ago today you crossed those physical barriers,

To enter the splendid mystical realm with best virtues as your  carriers.

Your positive attributes and one on one mentoring,

Will be carried forward in offsprings without any tampering.

I wish I could hold your hands in your moments last,

Angels of death would have been most gentle as in your character and spirituality, you were relentlessly steadfast.

I sincerely pray your new
 abode is spacious and lit up by aura of  the most  Merciful,

In 3D form, humans are oblivious which of your homes is more blissful.

I am writing because you emphasised I must explore my creative surge,

I am here today, expressing as all negative notations seem to gradually purge.

I couldnt have expressed this in any other way,

On Aug 6 you are remembered mightily like every other day.
