Loving to be Scared

It's a short walk down the hill but nonetheless, steep
Followed by a short walk in the street
Reaching my car sitting parked
Noticing how daylight turned dark

The door is frozen so extra might
Quiet dark road causing fright
Seeing my breath in the air
This excitement I cannot bear
