Sometimes things irritate me
Those few spots of hair that my razor forgot to touch
When my perfectly painted nails begin to chip
The oily spots that erupt onto my face infrequently
And sometimes when I lose interest in the things I thought I loved
When my heart aches for someone who is long gone
Or when my fingers fumble because there is no reason to play
And the black and white keys are no longer a part of my instrument
But my life as well
Where I thought they would bring me joy
But instead they bring me
Pain
Because the sweet sounds I wish for do not resonate in my ears
Instead I hear screams telling me that it will never be enough
And thatĀ 
IĀ will never be enough.
