Poem -

4th of July

The year is 2020.

I am quarantined.

Sipping a cup of tea

Staring at a tree.

Thinking, about me, and thee.

Tomorrow is the day

where fireworks should have exploded

honoring the birth of America.

But

that's not going to happen.

I am saddened.

Well done.  It doesn't take a lot of words to express what I see as sadness and loneliness.

Indeed. Being separated from my few close friends is starting to become unbearable.
