6 A.M ON SUNDAY MORNING

It is 6 a.m on a Sunday morning
A new day is ready and dawning
I shower and I shave to start my day
Constant yawns tell me I didn't sleep okay

Milk on my cereal and juice to drink
The remains to wash later on the kitchen sink
I compose my daily poem for you all to read
Check my status on Facebook the only news I need

The clothes I wear today reflect my mood
Working from home in complete solitude
I know the day will soon vanish and disappear
As every day has done throughout every year
