7 Deadly Sins

Envy**************
I want what you have,
Can’t stand not possessing
everything that you own.
I am jealous of who you are,
Of what you do, of all things
that belong to you.
Lust***************
I want your body
I want your sex
Need to have release
Need to feel pleasure
Crave to please.
Greed**************
Wanting more
is what I adore
The more I see
The more I covet,
The more I yearn for.
 Money, jewels,
fame and fortune
I fancy it all,
I don’t care if
I fall.
I will have everything
And I will stand tall!
Gluttony**************
Fresh fruit
Cookies, sweets
Cake, doughnuts,
bread, peanuts.
Eat, eat, eat..
Consume, consume
Every minute of
Every day.
I don’t care if I
die,
Eat, eat, eat
Time for some pie!
 Sloth************
Nothing, nada…
Feel like doing.
Nothing, nada..
Sitting back
Just to relax..
willingness to do
Something? That, I completely lack.
Wrath**************
Anger, Irritated
Hatred, complicated.
I am angry all of the time!
I hate you I hate him
I hate everyone
Rage, consuming my soul
and my mind.
Pride************
I am proud to be me
I am as proud as can be
I don’t care about anyone else
I only care about myself.
My pride is my most cherished prize
At the end it always wins…
There you have the 7 deadly sins..

A sin becomes sin when it is identified as sin, other wise it is nothing. This poem gives a concrete in put to the readers on the sins and how they affect the people. Poetry's highest motto , the morality and ethic , are very well uphold through this poem.Â
