9-11

9-11

On the eleventh of September, the year two thousand one;
A sunlit Tuesday morning, the workday had begun.
Not knowing that sheer evil was lurking in the air;
For this crime against humanity, they were ill prepared.

So they filed into their work spots, two towers very high;
But soon would strike some monsters, many then would die.
Two planes that they had hijacked were heading towards their prey;
They turned towers to infernos, this most infamous of days!

The world watched in horror as thousands met their end;
These devils from the bowels of earth, said Satan “I will send”.
Two other planes were headed toward Washington, D.C.;
To try and kill more people, in the land of people free.

One was quite successful and struck the Pentagon;
More innocents were murdered, eight hundred lives were gone.
The other plan was thwarted, the flight of ninety-three;
For many brave souls laid down their lives, in the name of liberty.

Four thousand kindred spirits were taken from this earth;
The children of the parents who’d known them since their birth.
The blasphemes of true infidels, “Allah”, the last name they would yell;
But their cries to him were wasted, for he sent them straight to Hell!.

For nowhere in his teachings, does he preach of genocide;
He asks all men to join hands, and guard their brothers’ sides!
These harmers of humanity, with him they had a date;
He sent them “to Johanam”, and then he closed his gates!

But to his sacred palace, did all the Muslims come;
That were murdered by these monsters, the epitome of scum!
And all the Gods the others, worshipped every day;
Brought them up to Paradise, to laugh and eat and play!

The democratic nations condemned these wanton acts;
Thousands of such innocents slaughtered in attacks!
But these cowards did not realize, the strength of USA;
We all joined hands together, and vowed to make them pay!

We found out very quickly the person whom to blame;
This ugly sordid cretin, Bin Laden was his name.
His hideout was so distant, the land of Taliban;
We went there to arrest him, but somehow he was gone.
For years we tried to find him, millions would we pay;
To any individual, who’d give his nest away.
Finally came a Judas in his trusted coterie;
Gave us what we wanted, and told us where he be.

A very secret mission, in the middle of the night;
We ran into his hideout, he put up little fight.
The retributed rifles sent bullets to his head;
We took his lifeless body, and to the sharks was fed.

No grave for him erected, for that will never be;
His bits of putrid flesh, now floating in the sea.
This Lucifer so loathsome, now erased did not exist;
Except for some fanatics, he never will be missed.

That brings us to the present, the ones that still wage war;
The outcasts of society, most people do abhor.
They’re just a small minority, but havoc do they sing;
They keep the world in panic, the terror that they bring.

But soon your time expires, just like your Satan’s souls;
The world will rise in anger and burn you in your holes.
For good will out trump evil, the Gods are on our sides;
And you’ll rot in Hell forever, our time we must abide.

Oh gosh!!......My darling Larry,

This truly is a superbly well written and a very well thought through piece. I am so bloody proud of you my darling. I think this piece should be sent to your president because it is wonderful. You tell the truth of it all and the story so very well here, and I want everyone on Cosmo to see and read this piece, especially as it is drawing near to the 15th anniversary of that terrible day.

On that horrible day, I suddenly put the news channel on, I rarely watch it, but that day I felt the need to watch it, I don`t know why! I actually watched the second plane crash into the tower. At first I thought it was an add for a new action movie or something like that. But then I realized that it was actually a live news feed and showing what was really happening in New York in front of me. The shock and the horror of what was actually happening in real life, and being able to watch it really happening, is still palpable to this day and it is forever burned into my memory and always will be. I have written a poem called REMEMBER for that day too.

That day was the day that the whole world changed! I feel so proud of all of your countries rescue services personnel. I have read many books that have been written by some of the Chief firemen, about what happened, and how they bravely rescued so many people, but also lost so many of their own men in the rescue operation. I have also watched and studied carefully just about everything that has ever been produced about 9/11. That was the day when humanity came together as one against the evil of terrorism. The terrorists will never succeed with their evil because the good people of this world are stronger and more determined to survive, in order to give our future generations the protection of a civilized and loving world.

We in England had what we refer to as 7/7 when terrorists blew up buses and railway stations and killed and maimed hundreds of innocent people here. Although it was terrible for all of us, it paled in comparison to 9/11! We found out later that a terrorist cell were actually planning something like 9/11 for England, but thank heavens our special forces personnel got to them before they could do anymore harm.

The situation now with us here is, we are very strongly guarded in all public places by our special forces and they are on alert permanently, but sadly we have had to accept the fact that they have to carry guns now, which is scary to see here in England, as our gun laws are very strict and different to your country. Now they have them especially in our airports and stations. Sadly they are really needed now with the constant threat of terrorism to our society.

We all have to go through a lot of security checks before we are allowed to continue our journey now. Many people complain about being inconvenienced by the police, but they should be grateful that our forces and special forces are so vigilant for us and so very brave too. They don`t get enough recognition for what they do. They are all keeping this country of ours safe and they deserve to be honoured for that.

I come from many generations of the armed forces. I was born in Tidworth camp in Hampshire, as my dad was in the army for 30 years and we traveled and lived in several countries. He risked his life many times. My 2 brothers and 2 brother-in-laws who were both Majors, had to fight in Northern Ireland, and my youngest brother Shaun fought in the first Iraq war too, alongside Michael who retired as a full Colonel from the S.A.S. They all did three 6 month tours in Ireland and the Iraq war. My brother Michael was injured in an attack by a woman terrorist in Ireland. I`m glad to say that he recovered from it well enough to continue his career in the forces and he was in the S.A.S forces and Black Ops for three years. so I know how hard they all work to protect us and I`m very proud of them all too.

You have done a wonderful tribute piece to all those poor souls that were lost on that terrible day and I`m very, very proud of you my darling. We can only hope and pray that nothing like that can ever happen again and that we can rid the world of those evil monsters. They will never succeed with their evil because we are stronger and we are civilized as apposed to those barbaric evil tyrants.

Well done sweetie, I`m proud of you, you are a superb writer and very talented.

I love you deeply

G xx
