Poem -
A BANANA'S TALE
Â
A green banana was hanging from a tree
On a pretty green field overlooking the seaÂ
He hung around with others in bunches
Cut down when ripe was one of their hunches
Wasn't long before the green banana was yellow
Sure enough cut down by a most likeable fellow
Shipped off and taken to who knows whereÂ
All missing the tree but nobody seemed to care
This banana finished up on a supermarket shelf
Far away from the tree located in the CommonwealthÂ
Taken to a home from the likes of me and youÂ
An interesting journey so incredible and true
