A battle within.

It's been a battle within
I must confess,

I feel overwhelmed

My heads in a mess,

I went down the wrong path 

Where to from here?

Do I give up the fight

Do I give into Fear?

NO. As lost as I feel,

I'm willing to fight,

For I am a mum

And my girls are my light.

So back off demons

You will not Win,

I will continue my battle

I have a life to begin.

For too many years now

I've not felt like me,

So by the power within

I am now free.

Free from the darkness

And free from defeat,

For my 2 daughter's sake,

My demons I'll beat.

We are worthy and we will survive,

One thing I know

We will feel alive.

So back off you demons 

And leave us alone,

The darkness and fear

Are not ours to own.
