Poem -

A BLOODLESS CUP

Oh
My truest love
You.
Nearly.
Killed.
Me.

For I shed my every sorrow
To my own great lake
Of tears
Lay drowning there

Too weak to swim...

So.
I.
Did.
Not.
Swim.
At.
All.

No....

Instead I used
My hollowed heart
To make
A bloodless cup
From which I supped

And
Supped

And
Supped
And...

.Claimed.Back.Every.Drop.

Rehydrated
Nourished
I.
Bloomed.
And.
I.
Survived.

So
My truest love...
You.
Nearly.
Killed.
Me.

But I am not a soul
So.
Easily.
Killed.

CHEERS....

A Lonely Journey

Marionette,
You're an exceptional writer, you know that? You do have that ability to write meaningful, wonderful poems, using precisely the correct, and needed amount of words so as to convey your point, and let the readers minds wander a little. You're great. I, very painfully, write every single word out(in triplicate), so that the reader is snoozing at the first syllable. Thank you for making me look bad. KIDDING! But not kidding about what a great writer you are. Sorry I've missed some, but I always enjoy.
Hugs,
Matthew.
