A brave buccaneer

I was sailing on the salty sea in my red rowing boat with my sou’wester  hat and my waterproof coat.. I felt like a pirate, a marauding buccaneer with only the sounds of the squawking seagulls to fear..they were ducking and dashing and swooshing around in a swish, diving down into the depths and scooping out with a fish..

Well I watched this wondrous sight for a while and this experience was awesome it make me smile..but all of a sudden and from out of the blue, I heard a cry for help but I knew what to do..there in the water bobbing up and down was a man with a parachute, well I couldn’t let him drown..And with a flick of a switch my speedy action took control, as I threw out a lifejacket to assist this needy soul..I stuck my long wooden oar out of my boat and he grabbed on it’s end to keep him afloat..

Now I soon had him safely sitting with me and I opened my flask and we drank a cup of tea.. I tied his parachute to the back of my hull so that as my vessel waded through the water it would follow in the lull..Well what a heroine I was that day, I saved his bacon from doom and dismay..and of course he couldn’t thank me enough, mind you he was very fortunate that the sea wasn’t rough..So indeed I was a brave buccaneer on the briney sea, just my wooden red rowing boat and  little old me...
