A CLARITY OF SCARLET

The window bleeds again today
A clarity of scarlet where only
rain should be
and I welcome them...the
whispers, that beg me
Wipe that window free

And my red cloth wipes that
window white,
My scarlet hands a pretty sight
I touch them to my bloodless lips
Try hard to blow that ruby kiss
At life
