A cloud

Is one with with a message
it is in front of the house not back facing the kitchen window
it's the most peculiar  cloud I have ever seen it looked like a mini
funnel like a tornado right before we had a tornado  warning
kind of like a preview I can still remember the sound outside like
a freight train was passing through, very errie a cloud .
this is a true account last summer .

Nice job Angel.

You are so lucky to have faced a tornado and survived!

My family was in the Xenia tornado, it was an F3 or F4. My father raced street cars at Kilcare Raceway in the seventies and eighties. I remember the sun filled sky had turned totally black. The attendees were all told of the tornado watch and later the warnings. I remember my mother hurrying us to the car, where we drove away from the approaching tornado. From our car, we saw the funnel cloud, the water was up to the door handles in certain places, I never heard the roar. Or maybe I was too busy, crying in the back seat. Since that time, I've grown fascinated by the storm, how they can come within minutes -- sometimes, soon after the watch is generated. I think, the warning system is good, but it could be a lot better. Here is to a new year, with less tornadoes and destruction.

Thanks for sharing your story.
