A countryside delight 💚

A countryside delight 💚

Meandering the meadows where those buttercups are bright

Just like yon mellow yellow ripened corn, a countryside delight

Running rivulets ripple, mustering might

Tumbling down the mountainsides with waterfalls of white

I hear bleating from those wild Goats, high upon the hills

Snow capped peaks are panoramic stills

Such sensational scenery fills one with thrills

As Mother nature welcomes subtle Springtime from winter’s wrath chills

Cattle graze on luscious green grasses, chewing on  their cuds

As daffodils blossom and bloom opening from little buds

Rivers break their brown banks, spewing out muds

Frogs are all in a frenzy, jumping in the floods…
