A day

The hour glass has tilted
life seems to stop
we all cry together now
nothing is avast
Our hearts beat faint and slow
we all seem so close
tiny variations are fading fast
when we mourn the loss
Every dawn we tremble
what this light will bring
asking for forgiveness
life to sustain and again,begin.
