A Fake Smile of Pain

Smiling is a sign of pleasure,

Yet a grin can tell a different story.

Rejoicing happiness when we are sad,

Showing tranquility when we are scared,

Displaying calmness when we are terrified.

If you fight the exhibit of misery,

Feelings will ignite into flames,

Burning in agony that inflicts scars.

Express yourself by showing hurt,

Allowing the signs to glow on your face.

If you let the facial features reveal pain,

Help can combat the despair of emotions,

Providing support led by a fake expression.
