" A GIFT IN THE GARDEN "
In the garden,
I sat on a grassy rock, and raised my eyes to the sky,
I saw the hand of God,
I quietly asked him why, And verily he replied....
You know our hearts are frivolous, and we so easily ignore our faults
It's hard to see the sickness in our souls, or handwriting on the garden wall,
So we feign a laugh, when we have full reason to weep
The only honest joy is found, within our liberty,
Blessed is the man who can set aside, all sources of distraction
And perfectly collect himself, in repentance and holy action,
Do not nose into another's business, or meddle in another's affairs,
Always be willing to correct yourself, rather than to you dearest, compare
It's better for us not to give too many creature comforts, to our bodies in this life,
For if we knowingly go without these comforts, we blossom in the gardener's eyes..
As I awoke, still seated, upon this holy rock,
I realized,
I'd received a gift,
From a vision in the garden
And delivered by,
The hand of God....
