A Gnostic Riddle

In my eye the kingdom zooms in
and zooms out
I breathe in the essence of being
I breathe out its untying of knots
I swallow a padlock
but my gut instinct has the key
Come and drink from my tongue
and I shall share the code with you
So that you might liberate your soul too
You think just because we can't see your chains
that we can't hear their clunk
But I have peered in through your window
and there you are
gagged by the strong man
squatting in your house
If you want to let the guest in
You're gunna have to kiss me

The last line left me smiling.Â
I had never heard of, Gnosticism before reading your poem. I'm intrigued.Â

I don't treat it as Divine Scripture, but I am a fan of The Gospel of Phillip. My copy is well worn with multicouloured notes in the margins. Lol
Intriguing write, well penned
Thanks Simon. = )Â
