A jolly man dressed in red??
That one late night in December when nobody will sleep, when little tiny tots hide under the duvets too scared to peep..tho they know that there is a jolly man all dressed in red, he drops down chimneys or can even tip-toe by their bed.. yes they may have sent Santa Claus a letter asking him to call but the last thing they want is to see his chubby face in the hall
Santa Claus is secret, a man of magical powers, he will walk in is wellington boots in the wee small hours.. visiting each and every house riding on his sleigh, with eight fine reindeer and Rudolph leading the way.. so all the little children right across the land will lie wide awake, gritty eyed with sand.. you see the Sandman has noticed if they are still awake, it is he that has a little pot of sand and gives it a shake..but on that one special night called Christmas Eve, only to the people who do believe
Santa Claus delivers presents to all the girls and boys, his pixies and Mrs Claus has been busy bees making lots of toys..So go to sleep all you little ones, shut your weary eyes, and you will wake up in the morning with a wonderful surprise..dream about Santa Claus if you feel the need, as he zooms zig-zagging at a sensational speed, flying thru the sky, landing on your rooftop, looking to see if your house has a chimney that he will climb into and drop.. but don’t worry if it doesn’t Santa Claus shall find a way.. there will be lots of surprises on Christmas day

Jillaclaus,Â
That was wonderful. I'm a little Scrooge-y these days, but that was really nice. Made me remember the good Christmases as a youngster. Great write.Â
However, I'm a little curious about your last comment there. 'I will but at pantomime at mo'. Do you do mimery? I like mimes, they're weird. How do they always get trapped in those invisible boxes? Crazy mimes. Anyway, I'm glad you like mimery, too.Â
Thanks for the mimeries!Â
Matthew.Â
HEY! I had an idea! Marionette was nagging me(KIDDING Marionette) on one of the comment thingy's about our next contest a while back.Â
What if we all(you, Marionette, Cheerie, Gregor, and anyone else who likes silliness) did a poem about mimes? Or mimery. Wouldn't that be awesome??!! Well..maybe not awesome, but weird. If you see Marionette or Cheerie around the halls of Cosmo, ask them, OK?Â
Thanks!Â
