A Kingdom Up Above ❤️

Sid made it thru the Pearly gates
He’d followed a brilliant light
He was in a state of ecstacy
Such a magnificent floral sight

A carpet of fresh red roses
The aroma had a lovely smell
There was low melodious music
An Angel was ringing a bell

Friendly familiar faces from loved ones he’d known so well
With expressions of elation
This had to be heaven, he could tell

His parents & his grand parents
His aunts, uncles with his best friend
Everyone he’d ever loved 
He couldn’t quite comprehend

Flashbacked faces from his memories
Sid was overjoyed to see
They obviously adored this paradise
Heaven was the place to be

Sid had passed on to the otherworld
A kingdom up above
He immediately was surrounded
With affection & lost love

Afterlife is beautiful, 
So gloriously filled with mirth
Heaven welcomes us all
After our time is done on Earth
