A Leaf and A Life

A leaf grows out from a branch off a tree

Showing off it's bright green beauty

This leaf then grows night and day

It's green color starts to fade

One day the leaf turns into a raging red

And its only still hanging on the tree by a thread

Then suddenly it breaks off and falls

And the leaf’s color starts to dull

The leaf lays on the ground

It's becoming crisp and brown

It asks the wind to make it dance one last day

But it's too late

The leaf faded away.
