Two sparrows quarrel with each other very hot
Both claim to fly down the first on the spot’
They forget their sole purpose to search for food
In the quarrel, become very adamant and rude

They do not know a great danger is await
A cat in the hide watches carefully to get
His food for the day and take the attempt
To jump down upon the prey in a moment

No sooner does the cat jump down on the prey
Than one is caught; the other gets free with injury
From the event, the lucky bird gets a great lesson
