A life too far

A life too far

is it.. our fault..?
that those less fortunate
risk their lives..
to change, their daily bread.
Could it be, our fault?
we destroyed them -
by proxy,
and now they climb that wall
to grasp.. what we take
for granted.
Their governments have
let them down..and us..
We have worked for
a better future,
and in the process,
robbed others.
My son in law won
Employee of the Year..
for the UK..
he came here..
on the back of a lorry
They are better than us..
