A line on the horizon

A line on the horizon

Oh lonesome sailor
e’er seafaring the salty sea
Escaping man-made’s earthly wonders
Does oblivion strike thee ?

Caring nothing but your anchorage
to steadfast you where you will
Listening to Mother nature
with the seagulls shrieking shrill

Staring endlessly to the motion of the swirling infinite surf
Swelling & calming with it’s elements worth

An eternal unfathomable, measureless view
Surrendering your submission
to God’s oceanic blue

A line on the horizon,
A subtle comparison to spy
Briney, blues of rippled liquid
satin shaded from the sky

Ne’er troubled by timelessness
Clock’s hands shan’t concern you
Amidst the mighty marine monotony
Betwixt the turquoise, silvery hue

I bow down in your reverence
Oh how I envy thee
Thy solitude, lonesome sea captain
With your mindset so free
