A lost wish

Have you ever just laid in your room and wondered what in the hell happened to my wish, the star that I looked at as I was set back in time to only see that mine was nothing but lost time, because... reality stole my wish, a massive explosion of fog blocking my path of something much more than a dream, but nothing less than a vision a wish upon a star to get through a struggle, it's so hard to be humble, if everything that sounds positive is always smacked out of the way by the sound of a mumble, my mind stumbles because my wish doesn't exist that shooting star didn't change shit, those long sleepless nights made me shameless, all of this Damn heartache has made a loving man painless, and family is nothing more than a wish upon a shooting star that died and hit the floor, a wish is a miracle that wonders through space like a satellite, waiting on the day you see that shooting star again, and then you'll wake up and realize that being alive.... Was always, the wish, that love was the wish, so listen to this final sentence, I wished for a great life in a prayer but the shooting star was never there, because a wish is god given and doesn't happen in the mist of thin air.
