You think it's funny
My clumsy dedication
Your arrogance is disgusting
My persistence you laugh
Does it make your heart feel good
To witness my struggle
Does it comfort your soul
To twist the knife
You carry the weight of the world
On my shoulders
For if you had any decency at all
You would surely crumble
Your head is so large
I'm surprised you don't float away
I suppose it's your indulgence of me
Grounded you'll always be
The problem with me is that
I wrote about you
You know who you are

As not to infect my heart

I've been given this power
Realization, Forgiveness,and LOVE the biggest of all
If I can love even you
With no expectations at all
Knowing you enjoy watching my pain
Gives me the power to sustain

You will take offense
Because you know who you are
You are being prayed for
