A Man Comes Along (from the novel Willow Down / M. Gamble)

A Man Comes Along

So a man comes along
Trying to right which is wrong
Were the miracles real?
Could his touch really heal?
If we drop that notion
And spare the commotion
The view is less blurred
When we focus on the word
No group to belong
No bells, No gong
Be loving and kind
Was his only remind
It’s simple advice…
Just strive to be nice
