A Man Like Picard

A Man Like Picard

He sat in his chair with authority.
A starship he did command.
Looking for new life.
Exploring new world'sĀ
Traveling fast through the stars.
Loved when he bumped into 'Q'.
Those were some good episodes.
Man I'm a geek.
I loved all his adventures.Ā
For me that stuff never gets old.
AsĀ  the new captain of the Enterprise.Ā
His style some just wasn't used to.
For me he was the best captain.
And he had the most fabulous crew.
U Got ill. U could see the ships doctor.
Ginger hair. Also mum of Wes Crusher.
NeedĀ  some advice perhaps?
Go see the empath.
Deanna Troy was a beaut'
I crushed on her.
A blind engineer called Geordie.Ā
His visor could seeĀ  through all spectrums no less.
But I felt sad for him still.
Cos with his own eyes.
He had seen no sunset.
Now no longer at war with the Klingons.Ā
On deck was Lt Worf.
The deadliest foe they came across?Ā
Don't argue, it's futile.
it's the Borg!
A wax looking android named Data.
His A.I chip let him have his own mind.
He struggled sometime with his emotion chip.
As he tried to become humankind.Ā
And right beside him there was someone.
Who made sure all his orders were done.
And that was Commander Riker.
Also know as his number one.
I'd watch this show late nights on telly.
Everyday hated missing a show.
I thought should I write about Star Trek.Ā
A Man like Picard
said Lee.
