A MAN TALKS A LADY WAVES

A MAN TALKS A LADY WAVES

I caught the bus into my city today
That's when I heard an unusual thing coming my way
He must have been eighty with straight white hair
I stared in his direction but he didn't seem to care

This old man was having a conversation with himself
He was mumbling and grumbling I was concerned for his health
I wasn't sure what the old man was saying
People got off the bus but he was the only one staying

It was upsetting to hear this man ranting and raving
I looked outside the window and saw a lady waving
Who this lady was I had no idea
Maybe she was friends with the old man it wasn't very clear
