A MINT GREEN SKY...

A MINT GREEN SKY...

I do not recognise him
Fine boy
He beckons me
He has a toy

He now wears proud a young man's smile
He holds the yellow rabbit high
My hand is old
Yet all the while

He holds it...

Anyway...

He towers me
We sit
I cry
We watch the shifting clouds roll by...

It is peaceful here
I don't want to go
But I must he says
He knows... he knows...

I was five years old
You couldn't know
Forgive yourself
I left to grow...

He kisses me
We stand
I cry
We walk back under mint green sky...

Fine boy
Handsome boy
My boy

No more....
