A MONTH OF RAIN IN ONE DAY

A month of rain in just one day 
Please make it stop for this I pray
Light rain heavy rain it's just the same 
The weatherman joked global warming is to blame

Pitter patter on the roof and the street 
Soaked to the skin from head to feet 
How I wish this rain would disappear and go 
It's worse than the icy frost and snow 

I can only hope this rain passes by very soon 
After all we are in the merry month of June
