A much needed vaccination

Lead me to the healthy lands
where everything is germ free
Without a need to keep washing my hands, there are no infections you see
Gone is the granduer on England’s green and pleasant shores
Will there come a day when we have to stay indoors ?
Honestly nowadays is so full of unpredictability
In the blink of an eye one’s well being is weakened by vulnerability

Well it will be a sad days ahead if I cannot roam
Don’t get me wrong though there is no place like home
But I yearn for freedom to stroll the countryside 
breathing the clean fresh air without a need to hide
Now that Spring has almost sprung and the blossoms are a’blooming 
If I cannot wander through the pastures I will be totally fuming
This dreaded disease can dam well do one, fizzle itself out and be absolutely gone

I find it hard to comprehend in these days of such sophistication
that Scientists are struggling to come up with a much needed vaccination
Let us hope and pray from out of the blue they find a sollution to this nightmare with a marvellous breakthrough
I put my trust in Scientific laboratories to solve this infectious blight so we can all live our lives happily with everything alright
